I met Alessandro Batazzi at the end of 2011 when I auditioned for a Tina Turner Show he was producing.  I really enjoyed working with him, and felt we could make some great music together.  Whilst performing together in The Rocky Horror Show in 2013/14 we shared lifts to the theater and talked about our musical journeys and life.  I have always found that my best music is made when I have a deeper connection with the people I am working with.

We both shared the love of progressive music and talked about recording an album.  We got together at his studio in the middle of 2016.  He gave me some songs he had recorded to listen to and work out drum parts, and I in turn, gave him some of my grooves to work out some melodies over.

The music came together quickly and we recorded 5 tracks by the end of November 2016.  We then recorded 4 “soundscapes" to connect these 5 tracks and turn it into a concept album singing about the disconnect technology can make us feel.

Ironically it was this same technology that brought this music together as we had friends send in their parts from Cape Town, London and Los Angeles.
